Open-source project data, as an API
The GitHub facts, daily Star history, growth signals and trending lists behind every Hysen Labs page, for your dashboards, newsletters, bots and AI agents.
Get a key
Sign in and create a key (up to 3 per account, free). Send it on every request in a header, never in the URL:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer hl_your_key" https://hysenlabs.com/api/v1/projects/ollama-ollamaLimits: 60 requests a minute and 5,000 a day per key. The data moves once a day with the GitHub snapshot, so cache what you fetch.

GET /api/v1/trending?window=daily&language=python&limit=25 | The trending list (/trending): window is daily, weekly or monthly; language is optional; at most 50 entries. |
A project's slug is its owner-name in lower case, as in its page URL: /projects/ollama-ollama.

401: no key, or a revoked one. 404: no listed project with that slug. 429: over a limit, with Retry-After in seconds. Every error body carries a code and a readable message.
Using the data
The data is free to reuse under CC BY 4.0: credit Hysen Labs and link to the project or ranking page you used. Keys are personal; a key used to mirror the site wholesale or to get round the limits is revoked.
No key is needed for images: /badge/{slug}.svg and the Star history chart /chart/{slug}.svg (add ?vs=a,b to compare, ?theme=dark for dark backgrounds) can go straight into a README. See Compare Star history.
