How it works
- It edits in the language you wrote in, following that language's own conventions, so a Chinese draft is improved as Chinese and never quietly translated.
- The answer is the revised text alone, with no list of changes; to see exactly what was edited, paste the before and after into the diff checker.
- No new claims or examples are added and no information is dropped — the only thing cut is repetition.
- The draft travels from this tab to your chosen provider under your key and nothing about it is kept here; a throwaway key with a small limit is the sensible choice.
Where your data goes
With your own key, what you type and the key go from your browser straight to the provider you choose; neither passes through Hysen Labs. In hosted mode, your text goes through our server to our provider (DeepSeek) and is billed in credits; we keep the token counts and cost of each run for billing, never the text itself or the answer. How the provider handles the text is governed by its own privacy policy.
This tool handles keys and credentials, so nothing about a run is saved, not even to your own history.
About your API key
We do not collect, store or leak your key: it lives only in this page's memory (unless you tick “remember in this tab”) and is gone when you close it. Still, treat any key you have pasted into a web page with care — create a dedicated key with a spending cap for use here, and delete or rotate it in your provider's dashboard when you are done.

Common questions
- How is this different from the typo fixer?
- The typo fixer changes only what is wrong — spelling, grammar and punctuation — and leaves every correct sentence alone. This tool also rewrites sentences that are correct but unclear or awkward, so expect more changes. Use the typo fixer when the wording must stay yours, and this one when it only has to say the same thing better.
- Will it change my technical terms or code?
- It is told to leave code blocks, inline code, URLs, commands and product names untouched and to keep facts and numbers exact. It may still reword the sentence around a term, so read the result before publishing, especially in documentation where a precise word was chosen on purpose.
- Can it make my text shorter or more formal?
- Not deliberately: it keeps your length and register and cuts only redundancy. To turn rough notes into a formal message, the formal email writer is built for that; for a shorter version of a long text, use the summarizer.
