AI CSV data analyst
Paste a CSV, ask a question in plain language, and get the findings with the pandas or SQL code that reproduces every number.
Your key stays in your browser. It goes straight to the provider, never to our servers, and we neither log nor keep it. Use a dedicated key with a spending cap, and delete it in the provider's dashboard when you are done.
Input
Result
The result will appear here.pandas-ai made a simple promise: ask a DataFrame a question in English and get the answer with the code that computed it. This tool keeps that promise for a pasted CSV without a notebook. Your browser profiles the file first — delimiter, row count, columns, example values — and sends that profile with the first rows, so the model sees the real shape of the data rather than guessing from a header. You get a direct answer to your question when you asked one, the findings a careful analyst would note (ranges, totals, category counts, outliers, missing and inconsistent values), a data-quality section, and a pandas or SQL block that reproduces each figure.
How it works
- The delimiter is detected and quoted fields are respected before anything is sent, so a European semicolon CSV or a field with commas in it is read correctly.
- Every number in the findings is computable from the rows shown and is labelled 'from the first N rows' when the file is longer, with a note on which findings need the full file.
- The code section loads the file with the right separator and computes the reported figures in order, one comment per figure, so you can run it on the complete dataset.
Where your data goes
With your own key, what you type and the key go from your browser straight to the provider you choose; neither passes through Hysen Labs. In hosted mode, your text goes through our server to our provider (DeepSeek) and is billed in credits; we keep the token counts and cost of each run for billing, never the text itself or the answer. How the provider handles the text is governed by its own privacy policy.
This tool handles keys and credentials, so nothing about a run is saved, not even to your own history.
About your API key
We do not collect, store or leak your key: it lives only in this page's memory (unless you tick “remember in this tab”) and is gone when you close it. Still, treat any key you have pasted into a web page with care — create a dedicated key with a spending cap for use here, and delete or rotate it in your provider's dashboard when you are done.
What it costs
This tool is free, with no sign-in and no points.
Common questions
- How much of my file is sent to the model?
- The header, a per-column list of up to five example values, and the first 30 rows. The row count and column types come from the local profile. For a sensitive file, redact columns first with the PII redactor, or ask only about the columns you paste.
- Can it make a chart?
- It describes what to plot and writes the pandas code that would, but it does not render images. Paste the code into a notebook, or ask the Mermaid diagram tool for a simple bar or pie chart from the summary table.
- The totals are wrong for my 50,000-row file.
- They are totals of the sample, labelled as such — the model never sees the full file and will not extrapolate to it. Run the generated code on the whole CSV for the real figures; the point of the sample analysis is to find out which questions are worth asking.
The open-source behind it
This tool is a self-contained implementation. sinaptik-ai/pandas-ai (MIT) does the same job as a library — if you need this behaviour inside your own program, start there rather than calling a web page.
