Each entry has a two-sentence definition of the term as this text uses it, an everyday analogy, and a line on why it matters here. The format is Fabric's explain_terms pattern; with the answer language set to Chinese, each term keeps its English original in parentheses.
How it works
- Definitions are tied to the text you pasted: when a word has several meanings you get the one this passage uses, and a note when the text uses a term loosely.
- Every acronym is spelled out in its entry, which alone clears up much of what makes technical writing opaque.
- The glossary covers only advanced vocabulary; everyday words a general reader already knows are left out on purpose to keep the list short.
- It runs on whichever provider your key is for, with the request made from your own browser; the paragraph you paste is not sent to this site.
Where your data goes
With your own key, what you type and the key go from your browser straight to the provider you choose; neither passes through Hysen Labs. In hosted mode, your text goes through our server to our provider (DeepSeek) and is billed in credits; we keep the token counts and cost of each run for billing, never the text itself or the answer. How the provider handles the text is governed by its own privacy policy.
This tool handles keys and credentials, so nothing about a run is saved, not even to your own history.
About your API key
We do not collect, store or leak your key: it lives only in this page's memory (unless you tick “remember in this tab”) and is gone when you close it. Still, treat any key you have pasted into a web page with care — create a dedicated key with a spending cap for use here, and delete or rotate it in your provider's dashboard when you are done.

Common questions
- Is it only for AI and programming texts?
- No. It works on contracts, medical reports, finance articles, academic papers — any text with specialist vocabulary. The sample is about machine learning because that is what this site covers, but the prompt makes no assumption about the field.
- Can I trust the definitions?
- For established terms, generally yes: models know standard vocabulary well. Be careful with very new terms, internal company jargon and project names the model may never have seen — it defines them from context. Check anything important against the project's own documentation.
- Why is there no bold text in the output?
- Fabric's pattern deliberately uses plain Markdown lists without bold or italics, so the glossary pastes cleanly into notes apps, wikis and chat messages. Each term starts a line (in capitals when written in Latin letters), with its analogy and relevance on the lines below.
- Do I need to pay for this?
- The tool is free and needs no account here; the model is paid for by your API key at your provider's per-token price, and a paragraph plus its glossary uses a few thousand tokens at most. As with every tool of this kind, a dedicated key with a low limit, deleted after use, is the safe setup.
